Family Day Session

A Fort Worth Film Family Day with the Dayes

The Daye family gave us all of Fort Worth for their Family Day session. We started at the park and ended at home and in between we made two and a half hours of analog film that tells the whole story of this family right now with their baby girl at the center of all of it.

Baby girls in their first year change fast. Faster than anyone is ready for. A Family Day session exists specifically to slow that down and put it somewhere permanent on real film.

At the Park

Fort Worth parks have a light that is completely their own. Open and warm and generous in the late afternoon. The Daye family moved through it naturally. Baby girl watched the trees and the parents watched her and the film caught all three of them exactly as they are right now in this season.

At Home

Then we moved inside. The home session is always where the real documentary work happens. The familiar light, the familiar rooms, the way a family breathes differently in their own space. With a baby in the house every corner of a home tells a story. The nursery, the couch, the kitchen where someone is always up too early. Analog film holds all of it.

Why Film for Your Family

Film slows the session down the same way a baby slows a life down. On purpose and completely worth it. The grain, the warmth, the texture of a real photograph made on real film is something a screen cannot replicate. These are prints worth framing.

Front Gate Photo and Film shoots Family Day sessions across Fort Worth, Dallas, and all of DFW on analog film. Book your Family Day session today before she is someone completely different.
