I started Front Gate Photo & Film to be a kinda anti-thesis of the very hurried world. The small moments we think we will remember forever slowly fade. The way your child reached for your hand. Your grandparents sitting on the porch. The chaos of dinner time. The feeling of home before everything changes.
Growing up around my grandpa Bud’s farm, life felt slower. People lingered longer. Photos were not perfect, but they meant something. That spirit shaped the heart behind Front Gate.
Today, I photograph families and weddings using real film because film forces us to slow down. It asks us to notice. To be intentional. To value a moment before it is gone. My work is rooted in connection over perfection, creating images and films that feel honest, lived in, and deeply human.
Whether I am documenting a wedding day on 16mm film or a quiet afternoon at home with your family, my goal is always the same. To preserve the feeling of your life while you are still living it.
My Creativity is derived
from my relationship with god and his creation.
