Brianne’s film maternity session at The Farmyard in Saint Jo Texas was exactly the kind of afternoon analog film was made for. She came in jeans and a white shirt, simple and completely herself, and The Farmyard gave us everything else. Wildflowers, open land, and warm Texas light that did not quit.
We started in the fields and let the location do what it does. Nothing forced, nothing fussy. Brianne moved through it naturally and the film held her exactly as she was. Present and full and beautiful in the way that only happens during this specific season of a woman’s life. Then the outfit change shifted the whole mood and gave us an entirely different set of images from the same golden hour.
The Farmyard on analog film looks like somewhere worth the drive. Because it is.
